Moab Trip

Spring camping is always a risk, but we went down to Moab with Eric's brother and sister-in-law, John and Liz, and their children...and we had a blast!! The camping was awesome, the food, even better, and we did tons of fun stuff! We camped right by a river and went to Arches National Park:)

At four months pregnant, we decided to give the Delicate Arch trail a try. Scary! But other than being exhausted, I felt mostly fine. We made it to the top and rested and took pictures and had snacks.

I have to say that the "hike" we did right afterward, the Sand Dune Arch trail, was my favorite:) We took off our shoes and socks and walked through the super soft, fine sand. The kids had so much fun playing--it was like a beach, only without the ocean! (Yes, Michael is wearing Brittney's shirt, it was so cold in the shade! Thanks, Brittney!)

This is the Wolfe cabin that was built about a million years ago, so we just had to get a picture with all the Woolfs at the Wolfe cabin. heehee!

Thanks John and Liz for letting us tag along on your family campout, it was too fun! We're already looking forward to the next one!

My Sweet Graduate!

HE MADE IT!!

Three and a half years ago, Eric told me that he had no idea what to do with his life and asked me what he should be when he grows up...

Although he still has some growing up to do...On April 29, 2011-Eric graduated with a BS in Digital Media. He is now ready to go out and start animating 3D films!!! I am so proud of him and excited for this new phase of our life:)

The last few years have flown by for me--that's what happens when you're having fun, right? It is such a joy to be married to Eric and have our sweet little boy. Our days are filled with love and laughter and naps:) (at least for Michael and me)! I can't imagine a better life than the one I've been blessed with!!!

Appropriately, every graduate was gifted the book, Oh the Places You'll Go, by Dr Seuss on graduation morning:) It was so fun to see Eric walk across the stage and receive his diploma (well, the case anyway). I couldn't help but cry because I was so proud of him!! My pictures of that moment are too blurry to post, but you can imagine it was wonderful:)

Eric's parents were able to be there and our sister-in-law, Liz with her two little girls. My dad came and my brother, Peter. And Eric's best friend, Jordan, was there, of course. Eric promised me that Michael would be good if I brought him; so I took our little toddler and he WAS good:) I tried to point out his daddy to him, but Michael had no idea what we were doing there-haha.

For some reason I just can't stop thinking about food these days;) wink, wink! And so I'll tell you that after Eric's graduation, we went out to breakfast and had some amazing food! Mmmm! Just thinking about that breakfast is making me crave pancakes and sausage:) Thanks, Dad, for taking us out!

Well, I guess that about wraps it all up. Can you even get any better than graduation, Dr Seuss, and pancakes????

I'll just say, be checking the credits of all your favorite animated films for Eric Woolf's name as animator:) Hooray!
